**演技** – *engi*. **performance** or **acting** (note the difference with [*shibai*](https://seiyuu.yakuaru.com/%E3%81%97%E3%81%B0%E3%81%84%20%28%E8%8A%9D%E5%B1%85%29)). Refers to the acting performance. You’ll see this used when talking about how a *seiyuu* delivered a line, or how well they did during a session in the booth or on stage if it were a live drama reading.
