**更新** – _kōshin_. **update.** It refers to news updates and announcements which may include maintenance, closure, event and merchandise info, etc. This tends to show up when blogs get updated as well. For programs, you may also encounter this as **リニューアル** (_rinyūaru_; lit. renewal) as it can also refer to changes in broadcast scheduling, segments, or an overhaul of the show itself as it reaches a milestone.
