# シングル **シングル** - *shinguru*. **single record.** A record release that features one or two (sometimes more) songs from a single artist. This is where you’ll find the terms [タイトル曲](https://seiyuu.yakuaru.com/%E3%82%BF%E3%82%A4%E3%83%88%E3%83%AB%E6%9B%B2) and [カップリング曲](https://seiyuu.yakuaru.com/%E3%82%AB%E3%83%83%E3%83%97%E3%83%AA%E3%83%B3%E3%82%B0%E6%9B%B2), referring to the A-side and B-side of a single, respectively. Lyrics and credits are found on so-called **lyrics cards** (歌詞カード; *kashi kādo*) or **liner notes** (ライナーノーツ; *rainā nōtsu*) behind the front cover.
